As a Staff Software Development Engineer on the Site Platform team at GoDaddy, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of GoDaddy’s public web presence and customer shopping experience. This is a highly technical, hands-on role requiring you to write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-tested code, contribute to architecture and system design, and collaborate across multiple engineering teams. Your responsibilities will include leading technical strategy for cross-organizational initiatives, mentoring engineers, performing rigorous code reviews, and actively contributing to open source projects relevant to the domain. The role demands expertise in all phases of software engineering lifecycle, from inception through production deployment of public-facing software. You will be expected to have strong knowledge of core web technologies, including JavaScript (ES2015+), HTTP/2, CDN management, caching strategies, and proficiency in React and Node.js frameworks.
