The Technical Support & Sales Rep at GoDaddy is responsible for handling a high volume of inbound customer calls, providing exceptional technical support, and driving product sales. This role involves actively listening to customer needs, troubleshooting technical issues involving internet connectivity and GoDaddy’s product offerings, and converting these inquiries into sales opportunities. The position requires collaboration with the sales team to develop strategies, managing customer accounts with accurate CRM documentation, and meeting performance metrics such as availability, Net Promoter Score, and new sales per day. This role requires strong interpersonal skills to manage multi-tasking in a high-volume environment, a solid technical background to troubleshoot online business-related products, and a natural ability to build customer relationships and close sales. Applicants should have at least a high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years of sales experience in a commission-based environment, and the technical capability to support voice calls and remote network access via smart devices. The role supports a hybrid or fully remote work model depending on the manager’s designation and requires living within commuting distance if hybrid.
