GreenGeeks, a rapidly growing web hosting company recognized as one of INC 5000’s fastest-growing companies in America, is seeking a Technical Support Level 1 agent to join their team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about web hosting, customer service oriented, and have at least 2-3 years of experience with cPanel/WHM and the web hosting industry. This position requires a high degree of technical knowledge and experience with various hosting products such as Shared, Reseller, and VPS. Candidates should be familiar with CloudLinux, cPanel/WHM, Softaculous, WHMCS, and Kayako help desk software. A firm understanding of open source software like WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, and common web hosting issues such as CMS installation, diagnosing HTTP error codes, DNS Zone configuration, FTP connection, Email client setup, PHP error resolution, MySQL configuration, and cron-jobs setup is essential. The role involves providing inbound support via telephone and live chat, processing sales orders, and handling written tickets within the Kayako Help Desk. Reliable high-speed internet and excellent communication skills are mandatory.
