As an Analytics Engineer, you will design and maintain scalable data models and infrastructure that enable teams to easily access and analyze data. You will partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate analytical requests into reliable data solutions. Your responsibilities will include building and optimizing high-quality queries and models to ensure timely, accurate data for analysis; auditing, documenting, and refactoring existing data structures to improve performance and quality; and continuously innovating to make data accessible and well-structured. Candidates should have a solid understanding of data modeling principles, strong SQL skills for efficient query building, and experience with cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift. Familiarity or interest in dbt, knowledge of scripting languages like Python or R for automation and advanced analysis, and comfort with Git and the command line are important. Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau is a plus, alongside strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
