As a Linux System Administrator on the Infrastructure Team, you will work closely with Site Availability and Site Reliability teams to ensure the reliability of Hostinger’s infrastructure. Your responsibilities include participating in shift rotations to handle infrastructure alerts and incidents, debugging production issues using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Alert Manager, and direct infrastructure access. You will perform regular infrastructure maintenance, document processes to create repeatable actions that lead to automation, and optimize infrastructure automation projects using Ansible and Terraform. The role requires experience in Linux system administration with a passion for monitoring and operations driven by monitoring. You should have practical skills in bash commands for debugging logs, service outputs, and network/firewall issues. A willingness to learn, innovate, work collaboratively with a team, and communicate asynchronously is essential. Preferred skills include scripting in Python, PHP, Bash, Go, Ruby, or other languages.
