As a Mid System Engineer on the DNS team, you will be responsible for operating and advancing Hostinger’s critical DNS platform. Your key responsibilities include provisioning and scaling DNS infrastructure, optimizing zone distribution, fine-tuning DNS propagation, implementing automation with Ansible and Terraform, enhancing monitoring and troubleshooting DNS issues. You will collaborate with product and infrastructure teams to evolve DNS architecture, improve security, and support new features to deliver fast, secure DNS responses. Required skills include advanced Linux expertise, deep DNS systems experience (PDNS, MySQL clustering, LMDB backends, DNSSEC), performance monitoring, automation, backup strategies, and ability to meet SLOs for performance and availability. Effective communication in English and Lithuanian is necessary, and you will work in a hybrid model from offices in Kaunas or Vilnius. Compensation starts at 5000 EUR/month based on experience.
