The Senior Backend Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems and APIs using NodeJS. This role requires collaboration with front-end developers and stakeholders to ensure seamless data exchange and user experience. Key responsibilities include optimizing APIs for performance, scalability, and security, implementing data storage solutions, integrating third-party APIs, ensuring proper API documentation, monitoring backend services, troubleshooting issues, and staying updated on backend development best practices. Candidates should have over 5 years of experience with NodeJS, Express, PostgreSQL or MySQL, knowledge of REST API, SQL, ORM, unit and end-to-end testing, Git versioning, message queueing technologies like RabbitMQ, BullMQ, or GCP PubSub, and containerization technologies like Docker.
