We are looking for a Backend Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems and APIs that power our applications. Collaborate closely with frontend developers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless data exchange and smooth user experience. Proficiency in PHP and API development is crucial. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems and APIs using PHP; collaborating with frontend developers to define API requirements; optimizing APIs for performance, scalability, and security; implementing data storage and database management solutions; integrating third-party APIs and services; documenting APIs for internal and external use; monitoring and troubleshooting backend services; staying updated on best practices and emerging technologies in backend development; delivering high-quality code solutions and making product architecture decisions; writing clear, scalable, and tested code that creates actual business value; and sharing feedback with peers. Requirements include extensive PHP experience (bonus for Laravel), confident knowledge of OOP principles and design patterns, unit and end-to-end testing skills, knowledge of REST API, SQL and ORM, experience with Git versioning, familiarity with message queueing technologies like RabbitMQ, PubSub, Kafka, understanding of application containerization technologies like Docker, knowledge of microservice architecture principles, and being a self-starter willing to challenge the status quo.
