Hostinger is seeking a Senior PHP Developer to design, develop, and maintain backend systems and APIs using PHP. The role involves collaboration with front-end teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth data exchange and user experience. Responsibilities include optimizing APIs for performance, scalability, and security; implementing data storage solutions; integrating third-party APIs; documenting APIs; monitoring backend services; troubleshooting issues; and staying abreast of industry best practices and emerging backend technologies. Candidates must have extensive PHP experience, preferably with Laravel, strong knowledge of OOP principles and design patterns, unit and end-to-end testing skills, REST API and SQL knowledge, familiarity with Git, message queueing systems like RabbitMQ, PubSub, Kafka, application containerization with Docker, and understanding of microservice architecture. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a willingness to challenge the status quo and deliver high-quality, scalable, and testable code that adds business value. Job requirements
