SiteGround is building a suite of AI products like AI Studio and Coderick AI aimed at helping customers through AI-first experiences. The AI Python Web Developer will work at the intersection of product and engineering, focusing on backend systems which impact user experience, cost, latency, reliability, and safety. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining scalable services using Python and FastAPI, building and versioning APIs for internal tools and customer products, collaborating with AI engineers on core AI functionalities such as prompt orchestration and retrieval patterns, rapidly prototyping and iterating features, partnering with platform engineers on deployment and production operations, troubleshooting incidents to improve stability, and developing internal tooling for AI adoption across the company. Candidates are expected to have 3+ years of Python experience, solid engineering fundamentals including clean code and testing, experience in FastAPI or similar frameworks, SQL and PostgreSQL knowledge, familiarity with Python packaging and Linux environments, and good communication skills.
