HOSTAFRICA continues to grow, sharing news of another acquisition on LinkedIn. The company has been steadily increasing its presence across Africa, and this move shows its aim to lead the web hosting market. After buying Web4Africa earlier this year, HOSTAFRICA has now acquired Webmanager.ng, a fast-growing web hosting provider in Nigeria.
The purchase of Webmanager.ng shows HOSTAFRICA’s focus on expanding in West Africa. Webmanager.ng, started in 2018, is an accredited provider by NiRA and has quickly become popular in Nigeria. The acquisition will give HOSTAFRICA local knowledge and help strengthen its position in the region. “We’re thrilled to do this deal with the HOSTAFRICA family. It is an opportunity to contribute to their vision of driving growth in Africa” said Kizito Ibeh, CEO and Founder of Webmanager.ng.
According to Michael Osterloh, CEO and co-founder of HOSTAFRICA, this acquisition fits with the company’s goal to support businesses and individuals across Africa with reliable hosting services.
These expansions, including the latest deal, show that HOSTAFRICA is becoming a bigger player in the web hosting industry. With the growing tech scene and demand for hosting services, the company is positioning itself as a leader in Africa. Hosting revenue in Nigeria is expected to grow in 2025, and HOSTAFRICA is on track to benefit from this growth.
