The Securities Analytics and Products Group at GoDaddy is seeking a dedicated Senior Software Engineer with hands-on experience in software development and a strong focus on security. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining secure, highly available, fault-tolerant, and globally performant microservices-based platforms deployed on the AWS cloud. Responsibilities include ensuring code quality through extensive unit and integration testing, investigating and resolving production issues, contributing to technical documentation, code reviews, and mentoring fellow engineers. The engineer will work with relational and NoSQL databases to ensure scalable, efficient, and consistent data models, build with observability in mind by instrumenting services with logs, metrics, and traces, and collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams. Required experience includes proficiency in Go, Python, and Typescript, familiarity with AWS services like EC2, Fargate, Lambda, S3, and CloudWatch, experience with both relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB, MongoDB), and CI/CD workflows including Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, and other DevOps tools. Experience working in agile teams and using Git-based workflows is important. Additional assets include a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and knowledge of UI frameworks such as React or Angular.
