As a Senior ServiceNow Engineer at GoDaddy, you will be responsible for building customized applications, modules, workflows, and integrations on the ServiceNow platform tailored to complex business needs. Your tasks will include configuring fields, forms, client scripts, UI policies, business rules, and other ServiceNow artifacts while adhering to development standards. You will integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems and APIs to enable seamless data exchange and enhance platform performance. Collaborating cross-functionally, you will partner with developers, QA, DevOps, architects, and business units such as IT, HR, and Finance to align technical requirements, offer mentorship, and drive platform adoption. Troubleshooting and optimizing ServiceNow’s performance, scalability, and stability will be vital, as will maintaining detailed technical documentation, applying version control, and enforcing coding standards. You should bring over five years of proven experience in ServiceNow development and implementation, with deep knowledge of core modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, CMDB, and Asset Management. Proficiency in developing custom ServiceNow solutions with Angular/React components and REST APIs, alongside JavaScript, HTML/CSS scripting skills, is expected. Experience integrating ServiceNow into GitHub Actions pipelines and managing version control via GitHub is essential. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, DevOps methodologies, and ITIL/ITSM frameworks is required. You will independently manage multiple priorities, mentor junior developers, and troubleshoot complex problems. Additional knowledge of ServiceNow products such as ITOM, HR Service Delivery, or Security Operations, AWS familiarity, and relevant certifications like ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or Certified Application Developer are advantageous.
