Security Agent – 15h-23h Shift

About the role:

As a Security Agent at Cologix, you’ll be responsible for ensuring protection of the infrastructure, assets and people within the data center. You’ll apply strict security protocols, monitor access and intervene in incidents to guarantee a secure environment.

Your daily tasks:

• Verify identity of employees, customers and visitors entering and leaving the building.
• Supervise security systems. Intervene immediately on any infraction, emergency or suspicious activity.
• Write detailed reports on incidents, patrols and security activities.
• Regularly patrol interior and exterior perimeters to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
• Maintain a deterrent presence to prevent intrusions and malicious acts.
• Apply key and badge access management procedures.
• Monitor fire system panel for supervisions or alarms and respond per Cologix procedures.
• React quickly and effectively to incidents and emergency situations.
• Act as first responder in medical emergencies.
• Follow established directives, policies and procedures precisely.
• Respond to security requests (internal, external) respecting established response times.
• Keep work environment clean and organized.
• Escalate any irregular situation to supervisor immediately.
• Perform additional assigned tasks. May work with data center technicians on various tasks.
