Job Description

What You’ll Do

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with international sanctions regulations, including EU, US, and UK legal frameworks;
  • Manage data protection matters both internally and externally (employees, customers, partners, and counterparties), including GDPR and other EU/UK/US regulations, as well as internal policies;
  • Supervise internal compliance processes, including conducting KYC and KYS procedures;
  • Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), Legitimate Interest Assessments (LIAs), and Transfer Impact Assessments (TIAs), and draft related data protection and privacy documentation;
  • Handle service abuse notices, takedown requests, and disclosure requests from copyright holders, authorities, and other parties;
  • Communicate with authorities, banks, and internal departments on matters within scope of responsibility;
  • Develop and review workflows for handling service abuse and takedown notices;
  • Support the Compliance Manager in assessing compliance risks and handling related tasks;
  • Assist the Compliance Manager with due diligence related to business operations;
  • Identify and flag key compliance issues and trends, and escalate them to management;
  • Stay up to date with regulatory developments and evolving best practices in compliance and risk control.

Requirements

  • Legal education or at least 1 year of experience in compliance, privacy (data protection), or a related field.
  • Certificates or completed training courses in compliance, privacy, or relevant areas are highly desirable.
  • Prior experience in the IT or Cloud sector is an advantage.
