The Secure Certificate Services department at GoDaddy is responsible for SSL Certificates issuance for GoDaddy and Starfield Technologies. This role involves gaining knowledge of certificate validation and helping both internal and external customers with validation and installation of certificates. Responsibilities include researching SSL certificate request components to verify proofs, reviewing customer documents for validity, guiding customers through the SSL certificate request and validation process with clear communication via calls, chats, and emails, becoming a certificate product expert by synthesizing market insights and customer needs, maintaining department goals and performance standards, and confidently communicating with customers. The position requires fluency in English and Spanish, excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Additional languages such as Portuguese, French, or German are advantageous. Knowledge of SSL products, industry standards, PKI processes, and terminology is helpful. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement requiring residing within commuting distance to the office in Arizona.
