This remote position offers the opportunity to work from home with occasional office visits for team events or meetings. The engineer will collaborate with security architects and engineers to evaluate, test, and implement new security technologies and solutions. Responsibilities include providing technical guidance and mentorship, working with internal and external teams to resolve infrastructure issues, developing and reporting on cloud security metrics, and building scalable operational tools. Candidates should have strong proficiency in AWS services and CDK, 5+ years’ experience in AWS/Cloud environments, and a solid background in designing and supporting large-scale distributed solutions. Additional desired skills include knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Gitlab or Jenkins, container orchestration platforms like ECS/EKS, agile environment experience, cloud security tools, scripting languages, and recognized AWS certifications.
