The Corporate Development Manager at GoDaddy plays a pivotal role in the company’s growth strategy by managing mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and strategic investments from start to finish. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Development, this role involves identifying market trends, developing relationships with external partners, and executing transactions that expand GoDaddy’s market presence and add innovative capabilities. Responsibilities include managing the full M&A lifecycle: sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, and closing deals; collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities; conducting market and competitive analyses; supporting post-merger integration to optimize value; and preparing detailed financial models and valuation reports. The role demands a comprehensive understanding of financial structuring, due diligence, and negotiation tactics. The ideal candidate has over five years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, or management consulting, with at least two years at a bulge-bracket investment bank or in a comparable corporate development role. Strong financial modeling skills, analytical expertise, and a track record of successful transaction execution are required. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Economics, an MBA, and experience in the technology sector. Familiarity with AI tools and a passion for continuous learning in this area are highly desirable. The position supports a hybrid work arrangement requiring proximity to the office in Gurugram. GoDaddy offers a variety of benefits such as paid time off, retirement plans, bonus eligibility, equity grants, participation in an employee stock purchase plan, competitive health benefits, and family-friendly policies including parental leave. The company champions diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in its culture and operations, ensuring a supportive and equitable workplace. Candidates are encouraged to connect with the recruiting team for assistance during the application process but note that unsolicited resumes from agencies are not accepted. This role offers dynamic, impactful work enabling everyday entrepreneurs worldwide to thrive online while fostering an inclusive and innovative corporate environment.
