GoDaddy is seeking a Fullstack Senior Software Engineer to join their Engineering team in Gurugram, Haryana, India. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications and services primarily using React JS, Node JS, and Ruby on Rails. The engineer will write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to best practices and coding standards. Containerization using Docker and container orchestration with Kubernetes are key components of this position. The role embraces agile methodologies to enable continuous release and deployment of application iterations, monitor engineering and operational metrics, and drive process and quality improvements. The engineer will contribute to internal open-source projects and build automation tools to accelerate application changes and deployment cycles. Collaboration within a passionate Scrum team is essential, as is participation in DevOps, release, and on-call activities supporting the codebase. Candidates should have over 5 years of experience in production-grade software development, with at least 3 recent years in React.js and 2 years in Node.js. Experience with relational and NoSQL databases is required, as well as understanding container orchestration and beginner experience with AWS or equivalent cloud platforms. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and feature flag-driven development is also expected. Additional experience with Ruby on Rails, TypeScript, Go, and frontend languages, as well as DevOps practices and agile methodologies, is advantageous.
