The Information Security Software Engineering (ISE) Group is responsible for developing and maintaining advanced software solutions that safeguard GoDaddy’s ecosystem, leveraging AI and machine learning to stay ahead of evolving threats. We’re looking for a Principal Software Engineer who shares our vision of empowering businesses to thrive online with the assurance of cutting-edge security.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of working experience in large scale system architecting, design, development, testing, and release, including but not limited to, microservices in layers, database design, API design, performance tuning, telemetry design and analysis.
  • 3+ years of professional experience with Cloud Computing Platforms, such as AWS.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, GoLang, or Java.
  • Familiarity with application performance monitoring tools such as ElasticAPM.
  • Demonstrated experience of leading big initiatives spanning multiple teams and organizations and leveraging deep domain expertise to influence product roadmap.
  • A strong understanding of security principles and best practices.
  • Experience leading a project teams of engineers in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
