They will be responsible for designing and refining models to improve scalability, robustness, and performance, as well as analyzing complex datasets to ensure accuracy and efficiency of ML models. Collaboration with ML engineers and other platform teams to integrate these solutions seamlessly into production environments forms a critical part of the role. Additionally, the position demands staying current with the latest advances in machine learning and AI, adopting innovative methods to maintain a competitive edge. The role requires contribution to the standardization of model evaluation, validation, and deployment processes, ensuring high-quality ML outputs. Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years’ experience overall with at least 2 years in machine learning engineering or related fields, and hold a Master’s or PhD in computer science, engineering, statistics, or related disciplines. Essential skills include deep knowledge of machine learning algorithms including supervised, unsupervised learning, deep learning, computer vision, and NLP, as well as fluency in Python programming with adherence to software engineering best practices such as version control, code review, and CI/CD pipelines. Experience in writing unit tests and documentation for ML code is also required. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with prompt engineering, large language models (LLMs), proficiency in multiple programming languages, and knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Airflow.
