Location Details:

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.

This is a hybrid position. You’ll divide your time between working remotely from your home and an office, so you should live within commuting distance. Hybrid teams may work in-office as much as a few times a week or as little as once a month or quarter, as decided by leadership. The hiring manager can share more about what hybrid work might look like for this team.

The GoDaddy Mobile Team is looking for an owner for app growth, positioning, and brand presence. You’ll work directly alongside the people who build the product – mobile app experts who have run successful mobile apps for both startups and Fortune 500 companies. You’ll get to bring AI-powered products to millions of customers, and you’ll grow your craft alongside an AI-forward team. This role offers scope and support to drive meaningful results for one of GoDaddy’s critical growth engines.

  • Growth strategy.Define the plan for how the app reaches more customers and how they get value faster. The levers span the GoDaddy website, in-product placements, customer marketing channels, paid acquisition, and app store optimization

  • Curiosity about small business customers. You don’t need to have marketed to SMBs before, but you should want to understand them. Consumer app experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with experimentation methods like AB testing

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working in marketing, technology, and/or mobile.
  • Track record of growth initiatives that moved real numbers.
  • Strong execution instincts. You’re organized, autonomous, and you ship through other teams without losing momentum.
  • Comfortable with data and reporting to analyze and inform your view.
  • Hands-on with AI as a real part of how you work, beyond the basics. We’re an AI-forward team and you should be excited to push that further, both in how you operate and in what we put in front of customers.
