As a Senior Network Engineer at GoDaddy, you will be an integral part of the Network Operations Team managing multi-vendor network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and load-balancers across data centers, enterprise campuses, and corporate sites globally. Your role involves deploying, configuring, and supporting complex network systems, providing Tier 2/3 troubleshooting for hosting and enterprise networks, and participating in an after-hours on-call rotation for network events and incident remediation. Collaboration is key as you’ll work with Network and Security Architects, Software Developers, Server and Platform Engineers, and Data Center Operations to deliver robust network solutions, contribute to process improvements, and uphold network design standards to enhance efficiency and availability. Mentorship of junior engineers and participation in architectural reviews are also part of your responsibilities. Required experience includes over 4 years as a Network Engineer with expertise in OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and various routing/switching protocols, proficiency with Cisco, Arista, Juniper devices, and network management tools like SNMP and Elasticsearch. Skills in scripting (preferably Python), API integrations, and use of version control systems are essential. Preferred qualifications include CCNP or JNCIS certifications.
