The Senior Technical Program Manager at GoDaddy will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Customer Engagement Team Operations to create and execute quarterly work plans that align with team capacity, partner priorities, and business value. This role involves partnering with CET engineers, operations teams, and external partners such as Marketing to design execution plans, define milestones, establish coordination frameworks, and provide weekly progress updates. The manager will also work closely with Product and Engineering leadership to identify potential limitations, anticipate new capabilities, and develop proposals that maximize partner value. The role requires engagement with various systems including databases, APIs, and Generative AI tools to ensure clarity and shared understanding across multiple departments. Candidates should have 5+ years of experience managing cross-functional technical programs involving engineering, product, QA, and operations, with a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, architecture patterns, engineering practices, and system design fundamentals. Proven experience driving programs with measurable business outcomes, including leading major product launches and managing complex API and integration projects, is essential. Skills in project planning, execution, dependency management, and risk mitigation are required, along with experience optimizing workflows such as Agile and Scrum. The role favors candidates with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields; advanced degrees and project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master) are valued. Experience with marketing technology platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Message-Gears is a plus.
