User Experience Engineer

The UX Engineer team at GoDaddy bridges UX design and code development, focusing on user satisfaction and creating performant user experiences. The role demands a strong foundation in UX/UI design, CSS3, HTML5, React, JavaScript, and their application in modern browsers. Responsibilities include collaborating with UX designers, researchers, and engineers to implement user-centered front-end solutions, developing and refining prototypes and components, applying data-driven thinking to solve user problems, identifying potential roadblocks early in the process, and actively participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies. Experience with design tools such as Figma or Sketch, accessibility standards (A–AA compliance), Git/GitHub, unit testing, automation, CSS transitions/animations, and design systems is essential. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, JIRA, user-centered design principles, and strong communication skills to articulate design and technical decisions is valued.
