As a System Engineer, you will solve real engineering challenges and ensure system reliability by working with a team of system, software, and network engineers focused on performance, simplicity, and resilience. Your responsibilities include designing and implementing new features for the hosting platform, deploying and managing infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code and automation, monitoring system metrics such as availability, latency, and performance, and eliminating bottlenecks to improve reliability. You will also enhance monitoring and alerting systems to proactively address issues and share knowledge with the team to maintain high standards for system reliability. Required skills include strong Linux OS experience of 3+ years, proficiency with Ansible automation, programming or scripting in Python or Go, experience managing web servers, databases, and caching systems, familiarity with cloud environments like GCP, solid networking knowledge (DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP), and applying Infrastructure as Code principles. Nice-to-haves include DevOps practices, open-source contributions, CI/CD knowledge beyond GitHub Actions, ability to read Go and PHP code, and certifications like RHCSA or RHCE. Requirements

  • Strong Linux OS experience (3+ years)
