The Role

We’re looking for a Principal Product Designer/Builder who combines design craft with product leadership. You’ll define UX/UI strategy and lead product direction for an important part of Pantheon’s product roadmap, working as a true product partner. This is a rare hybrid role: you’ll design, build, lead, and drive product strategy from day one.

What You Need to Succeed

• Proficiency using AI tools to accelerate design workflows and increase velocity
• Strong hands-on product design skills with the ability to take products from concept through high-fidelity designs and implementation
• Demonstrated experience designing products that incorporate AI capabilities and intelligent features
• Ability to define the vision for product design within a software organization
• Expertise in overseeing the evolution of design systems, ensuring consistency and scalability across all products and platforms
• Deep expertise in conducting research to inform long-term product strategy and identify new software opportunities
• Ability to drive organizational change and process improvements to enhance design maturity
• Expertise in using success metrics to evaluate the impact of design solutions on user outcomes
• Ability to mentor designers and provide strategic input to product and engineering leadership
• Ability to articulate product strategy, design strategy, vision, and outcomes to senior leadership, product teams, and stakeholders
• Willingness to represent the company’s design and product expertise at industry events and conferences
