Senior Data Centre Services Engineer

The Data Centre Services team works hands-on with a variety of hardware, software and cabling requests, helping to resolve issues and deliver reliable support for both external and internal clients. They are one of the first points of contact for clients visiting the data centre, helping to create a professional and welcoming experience.As a Senior Data Centre Services Engineer, you’ll be the deputy to the Data Centre Manager, assisting them with the day-to-day management and operation of critical infrastructure which is the backbone to the digital services – including AI – that millions of people rely on every day. This person will work closely with the Data Centre Services team across both of Pulsant’s Newcastle data centres, mentoring them to ensure correct standards are adopted and providing training as required.The working pattern is Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week between 8am-6pm. This role also has on call responsibilities (1 week in 4)
