We are looking for a Linux Systems Administrator to join our Operations team at PTisp and help ensure our infrastructure is secure, stable, and high-performing.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working close to production systems, solving real operational problems, and gradually improving automation, reliability, and scalability.

What you’ll be doing

Administering and maintaining Linux systems in production environments

Managing and monitoring critical services (Web, email, databases)

Troubleshooting incidents and solving issues

Collaborating with the team to continuously improve infrastructure security, performance, and reliability

What we’re looking for

Proven experience with Unix/Linux operating systems

Knowledge of DBMS (MySQL)

Experience with LAMP/LEMP stacks (including HTTP protocol)

Understanding of email protocols and related services

Basic knowledge of DNS fundamentals

Nice to have:

Experience with shared hosting panels (cPanel, Plesk)

Knowledge of backup systems (R1Soft, Acronis, Veeam, Proxmox Backup Server, JetBackup)

Configuration management (Puppet, Ansible)

Virtualization or containers (KVM, Docker, LXC)

Monitoring tools (Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana)

Open-source published projects/contributions.
