Day 2 of Nordic Domain Days 2025 at Clarion Stockholm set a high standard, blending serious business discussions with world-class networking and unforgettable celebrations.
The day began early with doors opening at 08:30, where attendees picked up their badges, enjoyed fresh coffee, and set the tone for a day packed with learning and meaningful conversations.

Carl Piva, CEO of Internetstiftelsen, officially welcomed participants, followed by Lars “LG” Forsberg, who reflected on a decade of Nordic Domain Days, sharing the journey from a small gathering to one of the domain industry’s most important events.
Morning Sessions: Industry Deep Dive
The morning content focused heavily on business topics and industry updates.
Robert Jacobi introduced the first segment, providing a sharp overview of recent trends in the domain space. Pamela Davidsson and Kristian Ørmen followed with The Power of Data, illustrating how open data sources can be used strategically for customer insights and registrant verification — an increasingly critical area for registries and registrars alike.
Rashmita Sathya from Radix shared a fascinating case study on achieving immediate product-market fit with new TLDs, emphasizing the importance of strategic vertical targeting and partnerships.
After a refreshing traditional Swedish “fika” break, Stuart Fuller (Com Laude) took the stage with Twice in a Lifetime, offering valuable insights on what organizations should be preparing for ahead of the next new gTLD application window. Gabriella Schittek from ICANN then provided important updates on policy topics such as DNS abuse mitigation, Internet governance, and the evolving new gTLD process.

Afternoon Sessions: The Future of the Internet
The second segment kicked off after lunch with a shift towards future-facing themes.
Davide Vicini of Freename explored the intersection of traditional domain systems and blockchain technologies, highlighting opportunities for innovation as Web2 meets Web3.
Vaughn Liley from Nova Registry emphasized the power of unconventional thinking in Joining the .Dots, showcasing how challenging industry norms can drive major business growth.
Nadya Frost from One.com delivered a highly relevant session on the real-world applications — and risks — of generative AI in the domain industry. This was followed by Michael Gilmour from ParkLogic, who discussed how domain monetization strategies are evolving, despite major shifts in the digital advertising landscape.
Another fika break gave attendees a chance to recharge and continue the many ongoing conversations.
The Breakfast Club Podcast Live
To wrap up the official agenda, Giuseppe Graziano hosted a live recording of The Breakfast Club Podcast, featuring Braden Pollock and Alan Shiflett. The discussion focused on strategies for building high-performing domain portfolios and responding to emerging trends, providing plenty of practical advice for both seasoned investors and newcomers.

After Work, Anniversary Dinner, and a Party to Remember
Networking was a huge highlight throughout the day, with numerous opportunities to connect over coffee, lunch, and between sessions.
The evening After Work event, sponsored by iQ, featured not only drinks and informal meetings but also a surprise tattoo booth — a nod to the spirit of boldness and celebration that defined the day.

The 10th Anniversary Dinner followed, featuring a grand Swedish meatball buffet courtesy of Freename.

But the real crescendo came during the Anniversary Social Event, where the entertainment was nothing short of spectacular: local legends Dr. Alban and Basic Element delivered a full concert experience. Hits like “It’s My Life” and “Touch You Right Now” had the crowd on their feet, making it a night to remember.

The evening reflected what Nordic Domain Days does best: bringing the domain industry together not only to learn and innovate but also to build real connections — and to celebrate the milestones that make this community so special.
It was an outstanding day of learning, networking, and celebrating the future of the domain industry.
Looking forward to what Day 3 will bring.
