NetNation, a white-label provider of online business solutions, has officially announced on LinkedIn that it has acquired Yola, an AI-powered website builder. The deal brings Yola’s 17 years of experience and over 12 million users under the NetNation umbrella.

Strong support from both companies

Founded in 2007, Yola is known for its easy-to-use website building platform, designed for small businesses and startups. Originally based in San Francisco, Yola now operates with offices in Kyiv and Lviv, Ukraine. Its team of developers, product designers, and support staff will join NetNation as part of the acquisition.

Yola will continue to function as a standalone brand within NetNation, with upcoming plans for platform integration and new product features.

Brent Viljoen, co-founder and CEO of Yola, shared his thoughts on LinkedIn: “The Yola team will be joining NetNation, and I’m excited about the possibilities ahead. There’s strong alignment in values and vision, and I’m looking forward to working closely with the NetNation team in this next phase.”

John Enright, President of NetNation, commented: “Yola has built a best-in-class platform that simplifies online success for business owners. We’re excited to welcome their exceptional team and technology into the NetNation family.” He added: “This acquisition enables us to expand our capabilities, strengthen our global partnerships, and accelerate our shared mission of helping small businesses not just get online – but grow and succeed online.”

Expanding a growing portfolio

The acquisition strengthens NetNation’s position in the online presence market. The company already owns well-known brands such as Hostway.com, MyHosting.com, SolVPS.com, and DomainPeople.com. With Yola on board, it now adds advanced AI capabilities and a wider user base to its portfolio.

With this move, NetNation not only gains cutting-edge AI technology but also expands its global reach and reinforces its commitment to small business success.
