Hostinger has added a dashboard page that shows shared web hosting and cloud hosting customers whether a distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack made their websites unreachable. The Anti-DDoS events page lists each attack that reached a plan’s IP addresses, with the websites affected, when it started and ended, and its impact on those sites.
The page shipped in the week of October 19 to 23, as listed in Hostinger’s weekly product update of October 26. According to Hostinger, attacks are detected and stopped automatically, and while one is active a notification also appears on the website dashboard and on the Plan Details page. Agency hosting plans do not include the feature yet.
What the Event Table Shows
Events less than 30 minutes apart are grouped into a single attack, so one row can cover many events. Each row shows how many events it contains and how many times traffic was blocked, and the most recent attacks appear at the top. The list can be filtered by website and by time period.
The start and end times also keep a record of attacks that are over quickly. According to Cloudflare’s DDoS threat report for the first half of 2026, 90.60% of the network-layer attacks it mitigated ended in under 10 minutes. Cloudflare adds that a 100 Mbps attack can overwhelm a server or website.
Hostinger VPS customers already have an Anti-DDoS events section. It separates DDoS filtering, during which the server stays online, from null routes, which leave the IP address unreachable until they are lifted. The version for web and cloud hosting reports the impact on each affected website.
Why One Attack Can Affect Several Websites
Hostinger’s help center explains why: web hosting plans use a shared IP address, so a website may be affected by an attack aimed at another site on the same server. In more serious cases, Hostinger may null-route the hosting IP address, dropping all traffic to it. Websites using that IP address are then temporarily unavailable. A site behind Hostinger CDN can stay reachable during a null route, because the CDN keeps serving the content it has cached.
Hostinger’s Advice for Repeated Attacks
For repeated attacks, Hostinger points customers to three options: Hostinger CDN, Cloudflare or a plan with a dedicated IP address. Hostinger CDN is available on web hosting plans from Business upward, and both CDNs offer an Under Attack mode for a suspected DDoS. Cloud hosting and VPS plans come with a dedicated IP address. Customers who prefer not to wait for a null-routed IP address to return can move to another server, which Hostinger allows once a month.
