At GoDaddy, we are seeking a BP Senior, SOX Compliance & Risk Management to join our Assurance, Risk and Compliance (ARC) Team. This role will be pivotal in driving the high-quality execution of our SOX compliance efforts across the full annual SOX cycle, leveraging technology including AI to optimize execution. The successful candidate will test Business Process (BP) and IT automated controls, identify control improvement opportunities, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the SOX program. The role reports directly to the Senior Manager, SOX Compliance & Risk Management. Key responsibilities include supporting SOX compliance activities such as conducting walkthroughs and testing BP and IT automated controls, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and industry standards, supporting the development and continuous improvement of SOX documentation, risk assessments, and reporting, enhancing automation tools where possible, identifying control deficiencies and trends, partnering with internal teams to support remediation planning, recommending updates to testing methods and documentation standards, and maintaining strong cross-functional relationships across business and IT collaborators to support program objectives. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in SOX compliance, internal or external audit, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, computer information systems or related field, recent public accounting experience from a Big 4 firm, a strong understanding of SOX 404 and internal control frameworks such as COSO and COBIT, experience testing SOX controls, and relevant certifications such as CPA, CIA, or CISA.
