Cloud86 is seeking a Support Engineer who will be responsible for managing customer requests, orders, and administrative processes related to web hosting infrastructure. The role involves diagnosing and resolving issues with hosting services, DNS, SSL, domains, and email delivery. The candidate will analyze customer orders, changes, and cancellations to identify process improvement opportunities. They will collaborate closely with system engineers to tackle complex edge cases and optimize backend workflows. Utilizing AI tools to handle repetitive tasks is part of the job, but the true value comes from human insight and judgment. Candidates should have strong technical knowledge of web hosting environments, including DNS, FTP, cPanel/DirectAdmin, and databases, along with command-line proficiency and a basic understanding of Linux. Experience or interest in automation and AI tools such as scripting and chatbots is preferred. Effective communication skills in both Dutch and English, empathy in customer interactions, and a problem-solving mindset are essential.
