About the role:

Cologix is looking for an HVAC Specialist to act as technical reference and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for HVAC systems within its critical hyperscale data center infrastructure. This position combines deep field expertise with strategic contribution to HVAC system performance, reliability and overall site energy efficiency. The person will support operations in a 24/7 high-availability environment. This is a new position that will evolve based on operational needs, infrastructure maturity and organizational growth.

Your daily tasks:

• Act as technical reference within the team.
• Intervene in the field when needed for advanced diagnostics, incidents and critical situations.
• Ensure performance and reliability of HVAC systems including CRAC, DX units, MUA, ventilation, humidification, etc.
• Validate, optimize and recommend adjustments to HVAC control sequences.
• Analyze energy performance of infrastructure.
• Identify, recommend and prioritize PUE improvement initiatives.
