As a Principal Product Manager, you will help entrepreneurs identify products they may need to build a successful online venture. You will drive platform innovation and best practices for checkout and renewals. You will support and enhance a product vision, derived from a deep understanding of customer needs, market opportunities and technology trends

In addition, you will partner with user experience and research teams to design and implement qualitative and quantitative research to discover unmet customer needs. You will then define strategies and tactics to meet those needs, and partner with design and engineering to build and complete a roadmap of solutions. We’ll count on you to independently lead ideation, alignment, delivery, and ongoing iterative improvement. We believe in data, so you’ll work closely with both analysts and researchers to demonstrate the results your creative designs deliver in both customer satisfaction and business performance

What you’ll get to do…

• Set forward-looking strategy for Attach surfaces; forms vision and strategy that drives business results. Delivers roadmap to most effectively meet GCR goals

• Drives Attach planning and execution of across 5 different surfaces independently within larger business unit or division product strategy

• Viewed as the go-to resource to for Attach on Checkout and Post Purchase surfaces, with in depth knowledge driven by: research, feedback, data analysis and industry trends related to a product. Learning to coach others to help them improve

• Sets direction for design of user experience. Partners with engineers across teams to translate roadmap and requirements into executable stories. Leads workgroup in evolving agile processes

• Designs experiments based on learnings that validate customer needs and inform next set of priorities, and communicates results, learnings, and next steps across impacted teams

• Increases velocity and scale of value delivery within product portfolio. Responsible for portfolio level product outcomes

Your experiences should include…

• 5+ years in product management leadership in a fast-paced online environment to independently design, run, and analyze statistical hypothesis tests in the production environment

• Lead the definition and creation of a balanced prioritization of the product roadmap and own the execution and quality of the deliverables

• Build business case models to estimate customer and financial improvements of product change and deliver meaningful results in service of business metrics and product KPIs

• Deep understanding of tools such as Tableau and Google analytics to generate and interpret reports and visualizations

• Deep understanding of writing product feature requirements; building and prioritizing backlogs with proficiency in Agile development methodologies

• Lead product execution for your area to include leading a high-functioning, collaborative team of engineers

Job requirements

  • 8+ years product management experience in platform, API, or payments products
  • 2+ years experience with payment card transactions and payment facilitation
  • Proven success embedding payments into enterprise ISV platforms
  • Expertise in API-first product development and developer enablement
  • Strong client-facing and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Experience with Stripe, Adyen, Finix, Square, or Shopify APIs is a plus
