GoDaddy’s Domain Name Aftermarket team in Shanghai is seeking an Inside Sales Representative specializing in premium domain sales who will handle inbound leads and calls from businesses and individuals interested in acquiring premium domain names. These domains are already registered and listed for sale by their owners. The role involves working full-time from the office in Shanghai, requiring proximity for commuting. The sales environment is dynamic and fast-paced, where representatives own their book of business and strive to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales revenue goals, which may change over time. Sales representatives typically close 3-5 sales daily, acting as guides in internet marketing to help customers craft investment strategies tailored to their needs. The position demands excellent interpersonal skills, organizational capabilities, and a passion for sales. Successful candidates will develop a strong book of repeat clients and expand their customer base over time while upholding GoDaddy’s core values: being extraordinary, owning outcomes, working fearlessly, joining forces, and living passionately. Candidates must be highly skilled communicators fluent in Mandarin and English, possess an entrepreneurial spirit, and demonstrate the ability to build rapport quickly with clients ranging from sole proprietors to C-level executives. They should be motivated to exceed sales targets, exhibit critical thinking for time management and multitasking, and have digital literacy with the ability to learn software such as Outlook, Salesforce, Word, and Excel.
