As a Senior Ceph Storage Engineer at GoDaddy, you will be responsible for architecting and building Ceph clusters from the ground up, crafting robust and scalable storage solutions that fulfill organizational needs. You will play a critical role in engineering, deploying, and maintaining the next generation of Ceph storage technologies, enabling object, block, and file workloads for internal applications and private cloud infrastructures. Your responsibilities will include managing a large-scale Linux environment to ensure seamless operation and top performance across an extensive infrastructure. Collaboration with internal teams on cross-functional projects will be essential to deliver assets swiftly and with exceptional quality. Additionally, you will scope and model various workloads to tailor custom solutions aligned with GoDaddy’s product offerings. The role requires strong development and operations skills with a passion for tackling complex and challenging problems in open-source projects.
