At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.
This is an in-office position and you’ll be expected to work full-time in an office location, and therefore must live within commuting distance from your assigned office. You will work from this office beginning on your first day.
This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.
GoDaddy is not currently considering candidates for this role in California, Seattle, or NYC.

The Data Center Critical Environments team keeps the electrical backbone of GoDaddy’s production data centers running safely, reliably, and in compliance. As the Critical Facilities Engineer – Electrical, you’ll serve as the subject matter expert for UPS systems, generators, switchgear, and power distribution across the Phoenix site. You’ll own safety and compliance programs, maintenance planning, contractor oversight, and operational documentation, while mentoring teammates and partnering with vendors, project teams, and local authorities.
Systems you’ll work with
Generators, switchgear, ATSs, ATOs, STSs, PDUs, UDBs, RPPs, UPS systems, BMS, electrical power monitoring systems, fire alarm systems, ATS controls, generator controls, and battery monitoring systems.
Physical requirements
Moving throughout the facility to access all operational areas, including ascending and descending ladders and stairs, and moves equipment as needed to support operations, inspections, and emergency response activities.

Compensation:
The estimated pay ranges for this role are listed below. In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for other forms of compensation, which may include a corporate bonus and/or equity awards, subject to the terms of applicable plans and individual eligibility.
