GoDaddy is looking for a Senior Workday Configuration Specialist to join their Transformation team and design, test, and implement scalable configuration changes for the Workday Financials platform. This role involves collaborating with Finance and Accounting teams to develop efficient Workday solutions that align with company policies and standard methodologies. The specialist will work closely with various collaborators to capture requirements, build and test solutions, and help drive adoption of new Workday features. Leading complex projects, guiding technical work, and participating in scrum ceremonies are core responsibilities. The role also includes spotting process improvement opportunities, mentoring teammates, leading cross-training sessions, and maintaining high standards through detailed testing, documentation, and quality improvements. Supporting end users through training and mentorship, and streamlining request management across teams is expected. Candidates should have at least 4 years of hands-on experience configuring Workday Financials, strong understanding of Workdays business process framework, and expertise in finance functions such as Financial Accounting/FDM, Banking & Settlement, Expenses, and Customer Accounts. Proven leadership in deploying complex Workday system improvements and crafting scalable business-aligned solutions is essential. Preferred experience includes Agile/Scrum methodologies, full-cycle Workday implementations, supporting multi-national organizations, experience with mergers and acquisitions, and knowledge of public company compliance including SOX requirements. Functional expertise in Accounting, Procure-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash plus a bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Computer Science is beneficial.
