Location Details: Remote – Canada(BC or ON)

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

As theSenior Technical Program Manager – Data, AI Governance and SOX Compliance, you will lead cross-functional programs that improve data governance, AI governance, access accountability, and SOX compliance across the business. Partnering with engineering, data, security, finance, legal, audit, and compliance teams, you will drive strategy, execution, and operating mechanisms that make governance and controls visible, scalable, and embedded into daily operations.

This is a high-impact role for a program leader who thrives in ambiguous environments. They can influence various interest groups and are passionate about helping teams move faster. They focus on growing transparency, strengthening controls, and boosting confidence in managing data, AI, and compliance risks.

Compensation

In addition to the salary range below, the role may be eligible to participate in a discretionary cash bonus scheme that pays 15% of base salary based on individual and company performance.

Canada:$137,000-$205,000 CAD

  • Lead complex, cross-functional programs spanning data, AI, security, compliance, audit, and finance, driving initiatives from problem definition through rollout, adoption, and measurable business outcomes
  • Develop and manage program plans, governance frameworks, controls, risks, dependencies, and success metrics, proactively surfacing blockers and driving decisions before they impact delivery or leadership
  • Own SOX and internal control execution, including control design, testing, evidence collection, audit coordination, remediation activities, and scalable control frameworks that support long-term compliance
  • Partner across engineering, legal, audit, finance, and business teams to balance priorities, manage risk and tradeoffs, and embed governance, privacy, security, and responsible AI requirements into operational processes
  • Deliver concise, executive-ready communications, dashboards, and operating cadences that translate technical and regulatory complexity into clear business impact, actionable decisions, and audit readiness
  • Direct experience with SOX compliance, audit cycles, control remediation, or financial-systems

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in technical program management or program management supporting engineering, data, AI, security, compliance, audit, or finance organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of SOX and internal control frameworks, including control design, testing, evidence standards, remediation, and audit readiness.
  • Proven success leading complex, cross-functional programs through influence, driving alignment and outcomes across diverse partner groups.
  • Experience with modern software, data, and AI delivery practices, including governance, platform adoption, operating cadences, dashboards, risk reviews, and decision management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create structure in ambiguous environments and effectively communicate with both executives and auditors.
