Mid Level PHP Developer

Join Hostinger, a fast-growing company with 900 professionals serving over 3 million clients worldwide, as a Mid Level PHP Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems and APIs primarily using PHP. You will work closely with front-end developers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless data exchange and a smooth user experience. Your main tasks will include designing API requirements, optimizing performance, scalability, and security, implementing data storage and database management solutions, integrating third-party APIs and services, documenting APIs for internal and external use, monitoring and troubleshooting backend services, and staying current with industry best practices and emerging technologies. You will deliver high-quality code that creates business value and participate in product architecture decisions, while sharing feedback with peers. Required skills include extensive PHP experience (preferably with Laravel), understanding of OOP principles, unit and end-to-end testing, knowledge of REST API, SQL, ORM, basic JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3 (SASS), webpack/NPM/Gulp, Git version control, message queueing technologies like RabbitMQ, PubSub, Kafka, and application containerization technologies like Docker.
