Job Description

Hostinger is seeking a System Engineer (Web Hosting) to design, develop, and implement new features to enhance their hosting platform’s speed, reliability, and scalability. The role involves deploying and managing infrastructure as code and automation, monitoring and improving system performance, reliability, and availability by analyzing real metrics such as latency and capacity, and resolving bottlenecks. The engineer will work closely with system, software, and network teams to maintain systems under pressure, continuously enhance monitoring and alerting to prevent outages, and share knowledge across the team to improve operational standards. Requirements include strong Linux OS experience (3+ years), proficiency with Ansible and automation, programming or scripting skills in Python or Go, experience managing web servers, databases, caching systems, familiarity with cloud environments like GCP, strong networking fundamentals, and Infrastructure as Code expertise. Bonus skills include DevOps experience, CI/CD knowledge, understanding Go and PHP code, and certifications like RHCSA or RHCE. Requirements

  • Strong Linux OS experience (3+ years)
