About the team:

The Productivity Solutions team is responsible for maintaining and developing new features for a set of email-related products primarily targeted at the German-speaking market. Our offerings include:

• A Cloud product that allows users to securely store important documents and photos
• An Online Office suite with web-based editing tools
• A Calendar app to help users organize their events

We aim to compete with major players like Google, Apple, and Microsoft to win the German market!
Our tech stack includes C++, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, and we strive to work with the latest frameworks and technologies.

About the Working Student program:

This program is intended for students (currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program) who want to gain experience, following what they learned in a specialized faculty, in order to become IT specialists.

Main responsibilities:

• Develop backend and frontend features with assistance from our experienced developers
• Adapt open-source code for company needs – Collabora Online
• Learn various technologies needed for maintenance and new feature development

We appreciate:

• Hands-on experience with at least one of the following languages: C++, Java, Angular, React, or Stencil
• Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies as needed
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Readiness to work on both frontend and backend tasks
• Background in object-oriented programming

Would be a plus:

• Experience with Collabora Online
• Familiarity with version control tools like GitLab or GitHub
• Solid understanding of design principles and patterns
• Knowledge of Agile development practices
