Job Description

Kinsta, a top managed WordPress hosting provider, is seeking a Support Engineer to join their remote-first team. The role involves taking ownership of customer issues, troubleshooting, and providing prompt and accurate feedback through live chat. The position reports to the Support Manager and operates on a Wednesday to Sunday schedule from 10 AM to 6 PM UTC. Candidates must be fluent in English with excellent written communication skills and have online customer service experience. Preferred technical knowledge includes Linux, NGINX, MySQL/MariaDB, PHP, DNS, CDN, caching mechanisms, WordPress database and file structures, WP-CLI, command line navigation, server log interpretation, and familiarity with Cloudflare, Buildpacks, Dockerfiles, Git repositories, npm, or Composer. Requirements

  • Fluent in English with excellent written communication skills
