Requirements
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for Azure cloud services, with a deep understanding of Azure VMs, including provisioning, configuration, and optimization
Cloud- Microsoft Azure – In-depth knowledge & working experience on Azure Subscription, Azure Network, Azure Active Directory, Express route, Compute, storage, Alerts, Hyper-V
Hand-on experience running daily operations of Azure and Azure stack hub-hosted Windows and Linux workloads. Diversified experience in managing Windows OS virtual machines like patching, backup, and other OS support activities that include L1 & L2 issue troubleshooting
Work experience on Azure native tools like Azure Monitor, Application insight, log analytics workspace Azure Policy, Azure Update, and Azure Security Center
Configure and manage Azure Logic Apps for workflow automation, integrating with various Azure services and external systems
Deploy and manage container apps and container app jobs and manage IAC via Terraform
Implement and maintain monitoring solutions such as Azure Monitor and Azure Log
Analytics monitor system performance, identify trends, and proactively address issues
Experience managing Azure Backup, Recovery Services Vault, and Azure Site Recovery (ASR) replication and recovery operations
Basic understanding of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), cluster monitoring, node pools, scaling, and troubleshooting
Experience troubleshooting Azure networking components including NSGs, Application Gateway, Load Balancers, VPN Gateways, Private DNS Zones, and Private Link
Respond to escalated incidents and service requests from Level 1 support teams, diagnosing and resolving issues related to Azure cloud services and infrastructure
Perform system administration tasks on Linux and Windows servers, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of software and applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements
Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability using monitoring tools and implementing proactive measures to optimize performance and prevent downtime
Participate in on-call rotation schedule to provide after-hours support and address critical incidents
Document procedures, configurations, and best practices to maintain an up-to-date knowledge base and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on supporting Azure cloud environments
Strong understanding of Azure services such as Azure VMs, Azure Logic Apps, Azure networking, Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, container apps and container app jobs, etc
Proficiency in Linux and Windows system administration, including PowerShell scripting
Experience with configuration management tools such as Terraform and Ansible is desirable
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
