Job Summary
A senior commercial and transactional attorney who structures, negotiates, and closes complex commercial and product agreements for Rackspace’s GPU-as-a-service, bare-metal, and broader AI infrastructure offerings. This role operates as an embedded subject-matter expert across RackLaw’s sales, sourcing, privacy, and corporate development functions, providing GPU/AI/neocloud market fluency the department does not currently have in-house. The role is RackLaw’s primary point of contact for legal issues distinctive to GPU compute, AI training and inference workloads, and the neocloud competitive landscape. Reports to the VP & Deputy General Counsel and partners with existing practice leads (Sales Legal, Sourcing, Privacy, and Solutions Counsel) rather than displacing them.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several geographic markets. The compensation range for this position ranges from $185,709.00/year in our lowest geographic market up to 272,373.20 USD/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
