Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and supporttrading platform applications and integrationsused across front office, middle office, and back office functions.
• Might work withtraders, risk teams, and operationsto understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintainapplicationsusingJava and/or Python.
• Write and optimize complexSQL queries, stored procedures, and database structuresto support trading workflows and analytics.
• Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
• Takeownership of critical componentsof the trading platform and drive improvements in reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams includingrisk, operations, compliance, and technology.
• Contribute tosystem architecture, code reviews, and best engineering practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experiencein software engineering withincapital markets or financial services.
• Strong programming skills inJava and Python.
• Deep expertise inSQL databases(SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar).
• Knowledge ofcredit products and instruments.
• Good understanding of thetrade lifecycleincluding trade capture, allocations, settlements, and reporting.
• Excellentproblem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strongcommunication skillswith the ability to interact with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Proven ability totake ownership and drive initiatives independently.
