YOUR ROLE: As a Video Script Writer, you will own the creative backbone of our video content – the ideas, structure, and scripts that turn complex products into engaging, easy-to-watch videos. Your main focus will be writing scripts for different video formats (short-form and long-form) and adapting content to what works best across platforms like Shorts, Reels, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn. You’ll work closely with marketing, product, and video production teams to shape content flows, test formats, and continuously improve performance. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: Take complex technical topics and turn them into interesting, easy to understand video scripts; Write video scripts for multiple formats: Shorts, Reels, TikTok, YouTube videos, product explainers, tutorials, and campaigns; Collaborate with designers, editors, and producers to execute video concepts; Research trends, formats, and best practices for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube, LinkedIn; Translate product features and technical concepts into simple, engaging stories; Review performance metrics to iterate and improve creatives; Maintain consistency in tone, messaging, and brand voice across all video content. OUR EXPECTATIONS: Proven experience in scriptwriting, content writing, or video marketing; Excellent written English (native or near-native level); Strong understanding of product messaging and digital video formats, including short-form video (Shorts, Reels, TikTok); Familiarity with basic video production workflows and current online video trends; Solid grasp of storytelling principles — hooks, pacing, structure, and audience psychology; Ability to structure content for clarity, engagement, and viewer retention; Strategic mindset — you think beyond “just writing” and care about performance and results; Comfortable working in fast-moving, iterative environments and incorporating feedback; Strong collaboration skills and experience working cross-functionally with creative, marketing, and product teams. GREAT ADVANTAGE WILL BE: Portfolio or examples of script writing or content planning is a plus; Experience working with tech or product-driven companies; Experience analyzing video performance metrics (retention, watch time, CTR); Familiarity with video production workflows (even if you’re not editing); Experience writing for presenters / hosts and on-camera talent.
