DBA/ Database Engineer (Middle+/Senior)

Timeweb Cloud is developing a managed Database-as-a-Service (DBaaS) platform with PostgreSQL (top priority), MySQL and others. We are hiring a DBA / Database Engineer (Middle+/Senior).

Responsibilities:

• Operate managed databases in production: deep troubleshooting, incident analysis, performance degradation across thousands of customer DBs
• Fault tolerance and clustering: diagnose replication/failover problems; improve HA mechanisms
• Backup/recovery: evolve backup and point-in-time recovery procedures
• Observability: develop metrics, dashboards, operational limits to detect issues before customers
• Product decisions: shape defaults and limits; mentor team on DB internals
